I founded Bellings to address a problem I encountered throughout my career in commercial banking, corporate finance, and executive financial leadership: the challenge is no longer finding financial information. It is determining what actually deserves your attention.
Every day, financial professionals are confronted with an enormous volume of reporting across markets, banking, private credit, corporate finance, commercial real estate, M&A, economic policy, regulation, and other areas of finance.
Bellings was created to help organize that information and identify the developments that matter most.
What Bellings Does
Bellings is an independent financial intelligence publication. It monitors and aggregates developments from leading financial publications, institutional sources, regulatory agencies, economic data sources, and primary-source reporting — then analyzes and ranks those developments based on their relative significance.
Bellings does not attempt to replace the original journalism produced by major financial publications. Instead, it adds an intelligence and prioritization layer designed to answer four questions:
- What happened?
- Why does it matter?
- How significant is it?
- What deserves attention first?

The Bellings Intelligence Score™ (BIS) is Bellings’ proprietary editorial framework for evaluating and ranking the relative significance of financial developments.
